BERBER VILLA RETREAT is a six bedroom elegant luxury villa incorporating its own two-bedroom garden Pavilion with en-suites in the same luxury style.
The villa is built in the traditional Berber style. It sits in its own walled garden of one acre, accessed via large wooden electric gates. You enter the villa through the courtyard garden with its central fountain, through to the main cedar door entrance and into the bright and airy villa with lots of light and plenty of shade.
Outside there is a dining terrace and a veranda with outstanding views of the Atlas mountains, and several fountains making this a tranquil setting. A large covered pergola for relaxing or eating is at the end of a large tiled heated swimming pool.
All rooms are air conditioned and the ceilings are high giving a spacious atmosphere.
You will see the craftsmanship straight away when looking at the domed ceilings with the coloured light filtering through from the moroccan sun.

Living Room
Contemporary furniture in a moroccan style creates a luxurious and comfortable setting in this room. There are high ceilings with a central tower incorporating a light well, adding to the sense of space and atmosphere. The tadelakt chimney displays local handcrafted ornaments, and works of art adorn the walls. There is a Satellite TV, along with DVD and CD players.
Dining Room
The beautiful dining room, with seating for 12 people, is beautifully decorated in warm earthy colours typical of the Berber style. Fine art works decorate the walls.
Villa Bedrooms
Each of the four bedrooms has been furnished in its own style, with luxurious furniture and textiles and fine egyptian cotton sheets giving a five-star luxury with attention to detail and comfort. All bedrooms have their own bathroom with walk-in showers traditionally decorated with tadelakt plasterwork. Some bathrooms also have baths. Moroccan tiled twin sinks add to the atmosphere. In addition, one of the bedrooms has the choice of twin beds or a superking.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion can accommodate four people and is positioned separately within the garden close to the villa. It has two beautiful bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a walk-in shower. One of the bedrooms has the choice of twin beds or a superking. The Pavilion is ideal for family or friends, all to make an unforgettable experience.
Outside dining and entertaining
The dining terrace is covered by a cedar sun roof with drapes to protect diners from the sun. There is a brick built barbeque in place, ideal for lunches or evening meals, giving you a choice of cooking methods.
The nearby herb garden and fountain add to the enjoyment of dining outdoors.
Veranda
The veranda comprises of a large covered area at the south end of the villa, with two fountains. Here you can see the magnificent Atlas mountains in all their splendour. Soak up this wonderful setting with friends, tea and biscuits or a glass of wine, and watch the sunset. It is an experience that will stay with you forever.
The evening sets a different picture, with the trees lit up by Moroccan lamps. With warm evenings and the sound of crickets it is the perfect setting to relax and unwind.
Garden
The garden is beautifully landscaped with lawns, olives, palms and citrus trees, plus a large variety of scrubs including gardenias, bougainvillea and jasmine. A herb garden surrounds the terrace, and as you approach the entrance to the courtyard you are greeted by a fantastic cactus garden of all shapes and sizes.

Swimming Pool & Pergola
The spectacular tiled pool is 15 metres long and is heated. There is a shallow end for children so that they can play safely under supervision. There are ample sun beds and garden hammocks for relaxing and sunbathing.
The Pergola at the end of the pool gives shade during the day if you wish to escape the sun's rays. This also offers an area for entertaining or meal times while staying close to the pool area.
