Flights

Marrakech is the shortest distance that you can travel from Europe and wind up somewhere genuinely different. There are regular flights from the UK with Easy Jet, Atlas Blue, Royal Air Maroc, Ryan Air and Thompson. Flying time from the UK is around three and a half hours, and less from many European destinations.

Directions

Take the Avenue Mohammed VI, which joins up with the Route d'Ourika, or take the Route d'Ourika from the gates of the Palais Royale.

Drive to the 13 kilometre road marker and you will pass a mosque on the right. After 100 metres fork left, immediately past the canal. There is a signpost to Tassoultant.

Drive half a kilometre and turn left over the second bridge.

Entry to the villa is over this private bridge and through an imposing entrance, with 24 hour security. Take the turning to the Villa Berber Retreat, which sits in its own private walled garden.

You enter through large double electric gates into a beautiful setting with the villa central to the landscaped garden of one acre.

Geraniums and bougainvillea are planted amongst the date palms, olive, citrus and banana trees. The mixture of jasmine and bougainvillea create an unforgettable experience.

Climate

Temperatures in Marrakech range from 21°C / 70°F in the cooler months to 36°C / 97°F in the hottest month of August.

Throughout the year there is sun most days, and even in the cooler months of December, January and February it is warm enough to sunbathe, swim and play tennis and golf.
